Default MOT Sailed through it again!

I thought we needed a thread to celebrate the engineering that went into making the CBR1000F. I just had my 3rd MOT on this bike completed, again it sailed through, it got me thinking what has it cost me since the last MOT other than fuel insurance and vehicle fund licence. Answer 1 pair of Michelin Road Pilot 3s and about 20 mls of chain lube. Not bad for a bike that's coming up to it's 22nd year anniversary of registration with 26,500 on the clock. Last year it was just a headlight bulb. This bike is bullet proof. Hopefully you will share your glee of affordable motoring on this fantastic bike, or horror stories which might help when others have the same situation that needs sorting. Thank you Honda, I'm smiling from ear to ear.

Always a relief when you get the pass.

Good maintenance is the key and having done only 26,500 miles, it's just about run in

That, is awesome! Wish the previous owner took better care of mine (Bought it in September), but I got several thousand miles of reliable riding before I put it away, just chain lube and an oil change. Would have taken it to Florida a couple of weeks ago instead of my Wing, but she needs work (Ethanol flu, valve adjustment, various drips lol). And I'd love to have your mileage...

It is always a nail biter and I tend to over prep my bikes, but it is lovely when the poker faced tester says those two magic words "it's passed"
