Finally got around to doing something this weekend that had been on the cards for a while. Thought you guys might like to see how much of an impact it has on the overall flow of the bikes aesthetics. Very happy with the end result. If the entire rims were full chromed like what some people do I think that would be just too much bling. But the lip is a more subtle approach and helps accentuate the lines of the chassis more.

P.S. these pics don’t do it justice and for some reason my stupid camera's vibrancy of colours is really bad lately and I can't find the option that makes it more vivid/real. Time for a new camera I think.

Taking pics with light-coloured objects in front of the lens (like the white car) messes with the built-in lightmeter. Sunlight in front is also a no-no, when taking from a shaded area.
Take pics with the light behind you.
