Greetings Friends. A question for you all. On warmer days, I notice that my inside left thigh starts slow cooking from engine heat. Whether I'm moving along, or at a light when the fan kicks on. I don't feel the heat on my right inner thigh. This seems odd to me. I would expect more symmetry or balance. How about you all? Do you experience this too?

Never had that problem on either side with my '91, even on a long ride in temperatures up to 106 F. No idea what's going on with yours.

I wonder if I'm missing a baffle or diverter, or something?

Hello pcmaher! Last week has been pretty warm weather in my town, 25-27 degrees celsius, and I noticed the same issue with heat from the engine. Also part no.2 is there, thanks for suggestion, Tim.
Any other ideas?
I'm also interested in improving cooling (eg: fan for oil radiator?) because in my area summer days can serve me up to 40 degrees celsius (105 F).

Bigger rad perhaps, or a slightly larger oil cooler?

I also checked for the baffle / shield. It's all there. I looked over the entire front end and see nothing out of the ordinary. Everything looks stock and unmodified. I'm thinking it's an airflow characteristic of this model.
