Default looking into a 4-1 exhaust...

and all i see is Vance and hines...i KNOW theres a yoshi exhaust for this bike..anyone have any suggestions as to where find other 4-1 exhausts for an 88 hurricane 1000? I would be most appreciative...especially if some of you were bargain hunters and knew where to look for cheap priced ones as well

I have the V&H and wish I had the stock (bought bike w it)! The V&H is lighter I understand but it is so freakin' loud. I even repacked it and tac welded a "restrictor" for some back pressure and it still is loud as hell imo. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Don't settle for the V&H, wait until the Yoshi shows up. I have one and I love the way it sounds. My buddy says it sounds like a muscle car when I pass him while we are doing roll-ons at high speed. The V&H sounds like an angry lawnmower.

did you find the yoshi on ebay or what? you'd think that they would have it for sale on the yoshimura site so they could make a friggin' sale

I agree,damn hard to find a 4-1 if you don't want the V&H.
I've been thinking of buying the first part of the original exhaust (if i can find a used one)and a slipon that i want,do some cutting and welding so i can have it fit to my -89 and still have the centrestand.
Don't like the high/loud sound of the V&H , i'mlooking for "deeper" sound.
Good luck on finding the 4-1 !

I've got Yoshi's 4-1 system and just uploaded a short clip to Youtube so you could hear how it sounds, rpm's are around 8000.

I used a Laser 4-2-1 system on my bike that gave good power , had a good sound and was large enough to look good on a big bike. I think it was labeled Laser Bold'or or something like that. I bought it for a reasonable price from a German Company. Let me know if you want to get the www and email to the german shop.
