I sent a request to Don Collins asking if this is OK to post - no response so not sure he even received it...

Of course we are interested in MotoGP. I have hardly missed a race (on TV) in the big class (prev. 500cc, now MotoGP) since I got cable in 1990 so I have been there with Rainey, Schwantz, Doohan, Criville, Roberts, Rossi, Hayden, Stoner.
When me and my wife got married the honeymoon trip went to Donington Park in 2005 (the rainiest place I have ever been to).
The new layout on www.motogp.com is not good though. And the pictures are not in the same hight resolution as before. I have e-mailed them about that, but of course they ignore me.....

Is anyone going to the Inagural Indianapolis Moto GP races in September. My wife and I are going to be riding up there on our bikes. It's about 1100 miles to get there. Were taking 2 weeks off so no hurry. Lot's of stops along the way to see the sights. Just wondering if anyone else is planning on going.

I will. I will bring out the snacks and we will have a good hour in front of the TV. It will be midnight here in sweden before the race is over.
No, I just occacionally watch Superbike. Today was not such an occation. That is bad because the Superbike races can be very good. Maybee I can change my behaviour some day

They never come around here. The moto-x was today at Unadilla. That's only 3 hours away and there are many twisties on the way. I had access to 4 free tickets but it is still raining here. The 7 day forecast is rain every day. This really sucks.

Wow. Great race. Couple real close calls in that battle.
That's all I'll say, in case someone here hasn't seen it yet. I know, I had to wait till 5pmEST to see it. Stupid tv. Guess I can't bitch too much, though, at least I got to see it (thanks to CBS).

Hey idodirt,
I'll be there with Da Kid (former F3 racer) Grundge and Lil' Stevie Wonder. The tickets are on order and are supposed to be here any day. We'e only taking 4 days. Leaving CT late Thur. and dirving through till we get there. I don't care if gas is $5/gal. My '05 Max gets 28 mpg and we're splitting it 4 ways. I've also got tickets to the dirt track race Sat. night.

Are you kidding?
Here in sweden petrol is at $8.55/gal and still rising all the time.
Sundays race was a thriller. The best race this season. A flashback from the -90´s when the riders were supermen.
