just put on a new front tire
I now have new matching tires on my iron horse. I got the back tire about 3 weeks ago and just had the front tire on today. I have a pair of bridgestone sport touring tires. people tend to say bad things about the bridgestone tires. I have had no problems with them at all. Southern California is full of twisty back roads to have loads of fun on a sportbike. These tires stick pretty good. I took the back way home today so I could srub in my new front tire. You can't get any good lean angles on the freeway. I have to say that these tires are just fine. Dont know about the wet weather tractions, its next to impossible to get caught in the rain in southern california and I don't ride in bad weather when I can help it. The front tire cost me 161.00 mounted and balanced. (including the communist california sales tax at 7.75%) So if you need some new rubber and don't need an ultra sticky true sportbike tire the bridestones are pretty decent. I did forget to mention that you can push the bike over untill you scrape the pegs with complete confidence. Here in SoCal you have to learn to lean unless you want to be confined to the freeways.
