I had one of these about 20 years ago. It was the gray model.

I do think the grey one is a little classier/upscale looking. But the red white and blue has always been my favorite colors on these. Just screams "awesome" to me.

Yes I agree. Same deal on my 600. I knew I wasn't the only one to think that way.

My first motorcycle was an 87 cbr600. Loved it every day.
