Um, yep different eh, think I'll stick with the Oxford passenger grips that velco on to me. When not in use they sit in the pack rack.
Another thing srpings to mind having come off bikes in the past. Imagine the mess these things would make of ya if you came to an abrupt stop! It's bad enough with the fuel tank, handles bars, mirrors, fairings etc as well as the object that just pulled in front of ya your about to smacko with to contend with. But crap, these things would eat you alive before you even left the bike! Definately no more 'man gear' after a hang up with these things, ek.
In saying all that, they could be good for those trick bikes suppose?
Can't see them selling many.

Strewth ! ... those things are nuts for sure ...and look bloody awful !! 
I recon the friggin passenger can hold on any way they can or just get the **** off any way they want too..!!
