Reduction of 1 tooth on the front will push the power up around 7%. +3 teeth on the rear will do the same, more or less. 16/42 is pretty good and won't hurt your wallet too badly, fuel and tyres wise. I think 16/45 is a bit radical.
Just my 2c worth.

If you fit a 15 to the front you need shim it out around 1.5 mm to clear the chain on the case, and remove the same on the out side so it will tighten up.(On a lathe )

Just remember that the speedometer is driven off of the rear sprocket nut and will be effected by any change.

Speedo's not adjustable
Changes to the sprockets will depend what ratios you use - 15/45 should be OK (JUST) with a std chain.

Speedo is driven from the shaft, so if you go 16/42 then you will be travelling slower than your speedo reports - just mentally adjust - get someone to pace you so you are aware of the difference on the speedo with your new sprocket set up.

Nope, sorry, only spare sprocket I have is a 15.
You can buy sprockets from the Honda dealership, or look for sprocket sets on e-Bay.
Make sure you get the right part........
Maybe try www.mrcycles.com or www.wemoto.com or www.bikebandit.com
