Nicely packed there! Similar to what my F looks like when on the road too!

I've was off 2 wheels for a while myself, when our 3rd child came along couldn't afford to keep the old GT750 on the road, needed some major work done to it and wasn't feasible to buy another bike. Bit hard to transport kids to daycare/kindergarten etc.. on a motorbike. Now that our youngest is in school and I'm earning decent money finally I can afford the luxury of a motorbike plus 2 cars, so brought the CBR last year to get back into it again, gee I missed motorcycling - it's in ya blood and when you don't get out for a while it can get frustrating! Nice to hit the road and clear your head! I kinda brought the CBRF as an interim bike but I've found I quite like it and the one I got is in great condition so will see how long I keep it but I've also been eyeing off the blackbird, but being a large lad they appear more 'racebike' orientated for my build, the CBRF is probably as low as I would want to go. So perhaps the next bike might be more of a tourer perhaps. How have you found the transition to your bird waz57?

Sorry for hijacking your thread Shadow1

michnet76, I know exactly what you mean the 1000 F woudl be the smallest bike I would want to ride. As for going to the bird well I am 6 foot 3 my wife is 6 foot I weigh 120 Kilos so I am not small and my wife is about 70 to 80 so we are both reasonable big, the bird at first was hard on my wrists but you just change your riding habbits to suit. It is very smooth TOO MUCH POWER but is happy around town in 4th doing kind of 60 ! or doing 200 doubled up on the hyway a very nice bike I feel had the opportunity to ride a 1400 Kawaka but was sadly dissappointed the bird wants to ride at any speed the kwaka wants to ride at normal speeds and you have to adjust yourself to go faster when you sit on the bird and blend into it. I also had the opportunity to ride a 1400 Harley well always knew they were a tractor on two wheels and it was one of the fast ones !!! I didnt think so. So yeah the bird has me in its web, and since I got rid of those crappy BT 57s and put on BT 021 's she goes into a corner then you feel her say okay go around this corner and she takes you very fast smooth and as if it is on rails ( I hardened up the rear shock too ) All the bird needed was the paint scheme of the 1000 F as they look like they are doing 200 Kls an hour on the spot just love the 1000 F
