Don't make me whip out the pictures of that one time when my bike was clean for a day.

Must have been day one at the assembly plant then !!!!

Naah. It was some other guy's bike that I met at a bike night. lol..

Hi - centre stand now fitted - many thanks.
Had a hell of a job getting spring on but used the coins in the coil trick and finally got there.
I think i will get someone else to fit the new shock - i am unlikely to be able to do it if i can't even fit a centre-stand without lots of help.

Nah mate, fitting the rear shock is a walk in the park! If I can do it, anyone can!

Yeah Ian .......rear shock is very easy ....... no tension involved there ! just a lump of wood under the rear
tire to lone up the final bolt through the eye of the shock

Just don't try to move the bike before you've fitted the new shock, don't ask how i know...

Yup with ya on that one ..... roped mine up the the rafters in my garage
from the grab bar

Thanks for this thread and all that replied. I too needed no know how the spring and the "c" thingy went back on. I didn't know about the coin trick either. Thanks
