Default Idles rough & harder to start when warm???

My 91/92 CBR1000F seems to be idling rough after it warms up. Once I've been for a ride I can pull up at lights & wait & it will sound rough & feels like it will stall. Plus once I turn the bike off & try to start it again sometimes it takes a bit to start it.
Through acceleration it is fine, but its just under low revs that its rough.
Any ideas???

Dan

This will be a fuel system issue m8. I would start with a Carb Sync. If the carbs arent synchronised, it will feel a lot worse when the engine is at low or idle revs.

Yeah, I thought fuel first. But it seems to be fine when cold or when warming up. It only has the prob when warmed up. Will take to bike shop later today & see what they say & how much will cost me.

Dealing with one of these strange cases on another forum.

Valves, coils, and vapour lock.

When was the last valve adjustment?

Do you have a prime on your bike? If you put the bike on prime for a minute, then hold the throttle WFO will it start more easily?

Then the next question is could you test your own coils... heat does funny things to conductive metals.

It is a very weird problem... and I'm not saying it's any of those three things for sure, but those are some typical starting points.

ditto, too rich, mebbe choke is stuck on a bit or airfilter blocked up,are running on prime perhaps?,mebbe the vacumm bit of the fuel tap has died letting it run like on prime.
only other thing i can think of is the plugs or coils breaking down when hot.
