Kill switch malfunction? No gas? Weak battery? Could be a number of reasons but I would
check that you get gas firstly.

Choke needs to all the way on.

A quick check to see if it is fuel related is to: Drain your carb float bowls. Crack your gas cap open. Petcock to main flow. Visual check on the in-line filter to see if gas is flowing from the tank down to the carbs. Crank the starter. If there was no visible gas in the filter. Is there now? If there was gas visible in the filter, crank a little bit more (don't drain your battery). Shut everything down and try to draining your floatbowls again. If nothing comes out, it could be fuel pump related. If this is the case, get back to me

how do i know how if its a kill switch malfunction ?
& i just got a new battery. i just put two gallons of gas in but it just isnt showing up on the gauge for some reason. do you think that could be a problem with it starting ?

idk if you can see in the video, but my thing with the choke on it is broken. it has no screw in it, so it kinda just hangs there. and idk if the choke is activating because of that.

& im fairly new too motorcycles so could you give me an instruction on how to drain my floatbowls and all that.

im really appreciating all this guys..:icon_smile::icon_smile:

no choke action - no start - repair that first

Plus 1.

Cheap fix. Easy job

My choke cable busted recently. Tried to finesse it to start. Got close but no dice.

Replaced it and it started no problem.

Slow down and let these guys walk you through it

Lift the tank - pull the choke manually to get it to start
when it warms up - off you go - don't leave it off longer
tan 20 mins or you'll be lifting the tank again :)

As Sprock suggests.

Also what year is your bike? May or may not have a fuel pump.

Any difficulty finding the choke mechanism, just follow the choke cable from the bars down to the carbs and it attaches to a small lever next to the carbs.

Try this;

Get on bike, pull up kick stand, pull in clutch lever and see if it will start.
Choke on full.....
