Go there often - friends of friends etc. - touched down in OHare last week in fact

One of my other most favored Citys especially when the water is green.

OK so I took the bike out for a short ride. And after driving for 30mins with 5 red lights and going between 25-45mph @roughly 4500 rpms. (temp is 65-70° mostly sunny and medium humidity) my engine got this hot

Is that normal? Should it be a little cooler. (It was a little past half way at the end of my ride

How did you manage to go so slow on a Hurricane Think this would be normal for city driving and a bit less if you drive outta the city and no stops every 2nd minute at friggin lights.

So what is the average temp then? When should I be cautious?

You get a lot of heat off the engine, great in the winter, not so great in the summer. But the temp gauge reading is totally normal, just make sure your cooling fan kicks in when it gets really hot.

Reckon you'll see another 1/8 or so in travel in summer heat then the fan should kick in

If it gets within an 1/8 of red and no fan comes on your fan switch in the rad' is iffy

What is the worst that can happen if I don't change my cam chain tensioner? I know its bad because I get that rattle. Even after she warms up.
