Hello I Was Wondering What The Normal Price Range Is For The 1000F's And What Is Low Miles For These Bikes? Not Sure What Years They Made The 1000's But Just Curious Thanks..

 

Bikes sold in the US from 87 thru 96 (though not sold here in 89 or 92). Low mileage bikes can be found with 10,000 or fewer miles. Prices can range from around $1000 for older models with significant issues up to about $3500 or so for later models in pretty pristine condition.

 

key word 'pristine' not rebuilt 14x.

 

I just payed 2600$ for a 94 with 18k miles. 1 repaired plastic, original paint ,garage kept.

 

You can go on CycleTrader.com and check out prices and mileage to give you an idea of what the current market is doing on these bikes.

 

The only problem with cycle trader or other like sources is that it will only show what prices people are asking for their bikes, not what they are actually selling for. I look at Craigs list all the time and some of the prices people ask for their bikes are truly crazy. Maybe try ebay and search on completed items- at least you'll get final auction prices- a better indicator of what people are willing to pay.

It doesnt account for mileage but these bikes are good for a lot of miles, so dont let that deter you if the bike was well maintained.
