It is better to change both together but I generally change sprockets every second chain.
Most important imo is regular checking and adjustment (always to the tightest spot!) and lube the crap out of the chain. If it ever looks dry, then you're leaving it too long and the 'O' rings are getting damaged.

i was thinking about it but they look fine and i dont have the cash to buy sprockets right now it was hard to scrounge 120$ for a chain.. and im sure ill change them sooner than later maybe a few weeks. but if it keeps making the noise it was ill have to. btw my chain is in i just gotta go pick it up and when u sit on the bike the chain gets tighter when the suspension is in use and not all the way out?? correct?
