holy smoke !
Good morning all
Yesterday i finished preparing the old girl for the new season, changed sproket, changed cahin, removed swingarm greased everything...took all day lost a nour, i replaced all brake and clucth fuid...when i replaced the clucth cover it would not work any more, but in the window in the master cylinder , fluid showed as full, we opened....argggggggggggggggggggggggghh, previousowner nevr changed the liquid in a century!!!!, full of smudge and gritt. Took us an hour to clean and bleedthe whole thing and it get it to work , i had to blled the cyclinder firts, then reconnect the hose, and then bleed it,the braked were ok... but man, i was surprised it still worked ! ithad the cocistency and color of caramel yuck

Fifty lashes with warm wet spaghetti for not changing it when you bought the bike.....
Glad you found it out in time Carl, could've been nasty.......
Good one, at least now you KNOW the brakes and clutch are right ( and no dozy mechanic did a half job, and charged you too much)
I wonder how many of us are guilty of the same thing ? Me, for one......

Well I bought the bike at the end of the season ans told myself i'll do that over winter , still wonder how the clutch kept going, with little power to disengage it ! I started the motor this morning, ORGASM! with the Supertraap what a wonderful sound and guess what , snow started melting today !
