Help needed to refit cams and cam sprockets
I replaced the head gasket on my 87 model so far everything has gone smoothly but when I got to tightening the cam covers down before fitting the cam sprokets as per the instructions the exhuast cam ends up out of position (ie the index mark on spocket doesn't line up with head as it should) despite it being in the correct position beforehand. Also the manual talks about depressing the camchain tensioner with a screwdriver to refit the intake cam sprocket but I have no idea where. Can anyone give me some advice for these two problems?
