Hey:

Yes I Am here, I just cannot access this site while @ work.
I just got home, so I'll have to see how busy the shop is before I say any more
stay tuned. They are machined from 321 billet stainless and TIG welded and not cheap to make.

You're obviously a man with the same heart as me Seb.

Always prepared to pay a bit extra for a purtty one.

Bordo: yes they are still available. I finally got mine on Saturday (while I was already gone to my camping trip). I ordered it from cheap cycle parts (see the link in my first post). I took like a week and a half which is not crazy is you are not in a hurry. Shipping was expensive IMHO (~$10 for that little plastic thing). The custom made aluminium part hold on very well, even though this weekend was terrible hot. With two up plus about 80-90 lbs of cargo, I can't stop being amazed by the touring capabilities of the cbr1000f.

Jajgarcia,
I emailed Ron Ayers yesterday and asked them how much to post 2 of the pipe joints to me here in Oz. They wanted $45 USD !!!!!!! I politely told them to stick it up their a$$. I'll get a price on them here. It must be cheaper than what would be 80 odd dollars US in total to get them sent here.

Paying extra for that quality and workmanship is not a problem for me. I don't need one right now but I'd purchase the part(s) to have on hand because at the end of the day my bike is 20 years old. Keep me updated and I could pay before you make them so your not stuck holding the bag!

Bordo,
you could check in the same site from where I got mine (CheapCycleParts.com - Cheap Cycle Parts), maybe they can offer you a better deal. Funny thing is that at the end they have to order most of those things straight from Japan, so maybe that what you should try to do anyway.
