R/R Sticky
This thread has great information on R/R problems & solutions. Can we make this thread a sticky note on top of this 1000F / Hurricane forum? Maybe change the topic to something more directly related to Regulator/Rectifier Problems.

RE: R/R Sticky
I ordered a case of 12 of these little RR puppies and will hook them up in a series with a relay switch so when it blows it will automaticlly flip over to the replacements on the fly!.....okay I'm just kidding, but I did order one of these after all these horror stories of faulty Honda RR's you folks filled my brain with......geesh come on guys I cant even get to sleep at night!!!!
I'm hoping it connects fine without chopping any wires in the process. Not that I worry about soldering and heat-shrinking, but I like to keep things as stock as possible, if you know what I mean
Any one else order one of these from these guys?? If so feedback??

RE: R/R Sticky
I just recently received a reg/rec from Electrex in the UK, same as Shadow's.Five day delivery to the US. Thanks for the recommendation Shadow. Picbelow of how it came packaged, with the additional hardware. Theitem no. for '90-'96 CBR 1000F models is RR23. Please note on their link below that the pic of RR23 does not have the heat sink. But after communication with them, I was assurred of receiving the one I did with all the cooling fins, exactly the same as Shadow's.

RE: R/R Sticky
Sorry - " re and re" - ?? If you mean replace and refit the stator - took me about 3 hours, what with removing the fairing, struggling to get the stator out as it's a tight fit with the seal in place, rerouting the wires (a real pain) and refitting everything. It's not difficult, just a pain. If you plan to do it, I'll gve you step by steps with pictures, as it looks like I'll have to do it again, soon[:@][:@][:@]
