Default Hello all, my new hurricane

Hey all, I am a new member to this forum and also a new CBR 1000F owner. I live in Australia and have purchased a 1994 model with 26,000km's
She's in beautiful condition, all the plastics still looking new, full service history and very tight and quiet indeed.
I look foreward to many posts and advice i can get from this forum. Cheers.
Here's a pic of her.

Welcome to the forum. It really looks great. I didn't realize that there were so many different color schemes for the different countries. I hope you enjoy it.

Regards

Hey MarkR, I'm in Adelaide and i got it through a dealer on consignment for $6400 AU. Not cheap but for the bike and its km's i did not mind. Ive taken it for a few good cruises around and find it very smooth and comfortable to get around on. Being 6'1" and 100kg i can handle the weight well too. It is similar weight to my old GPZ 900R.

You're from Adelaide? Well we all can't be perfect. (GO Eagles!!!) :P

Considering the K's that is actually not a bad price for a flying sofa.

You are lucky. I have owned 2 CBR1000's and 38,000k's was the lowest I could find one.

Thanks Trips, i will make sure i will post you on saturday night to tell you all about how the crows are mightier then your eagles [8D]
Im sure it will be a ripper anyway. Just out of interest Trips, what sort of front and rear sprocket do you have set up on your bike, i ask because i am looking to get my drive chain done and am thinking about getting my sprockets done at same, to start anew and the likes.

I just have to stock standard gearing. But I have to admit if I lived in Adelaide with all the twisty's I'd go up 2 on the rear.
