Default Headstock out of alignment

Hello folks.
I have a problem with my 91 plate cbr1000f,the bike runs just great and handles well but in a dead straight line the headstock is pointing over to the left by about an inch.i can let go of the bars and the bike runs as straight and true as can be.is there a simple way to straighten the bars.
Thank you in advance,,,Alan. uk.

Put the bike on the center stand, place a jack under the bike ( I use a floor jack under one of the tangs on the belly pan), lift the front tire, loosen the UPPER tube clamps and straighten the bars.

If you don't have a floor jack, use a block of wood and a bottle jack.

You may not have to lift the front tire, it just makes the straightening job easier.
With it up you can place the tire between the legs while tweaking the bars.
