Hi guys,

I'm new here and love the information and insight I get for my 87 1000f cane.

I'm presently painting my bike (getting rid of all the road rash) and I was wondering if anyone had information on changing the headlight on this bike.

I would like to change the rectangular globe to something like in this thread https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-1000f-hurricane-38/must-see-1000f-street-fighter-92199/ that's displayed on flickr (second picture).

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to go down the Streetfighter route if you are you should visit customfighters.com , This has everything you need to know .

Careful you don't overload the generator/alternator/stator
These bikes don't have many amps to spare.

 

Thanks for that web site. I am just trying to update the look of the bike. This past weekend I was busy painting it and today, I will be putting it all together. Once it's done, I'll post some pictures to get some input.

What about a UK headlight?
