Nice pictures!

Is there a site like "Fiver/Anderstorp" for Gellerasen, where the future dates/weekends can be found?

Here you can see the schedule for tracks where SMC arranges track days, http://www.svmc.se/templates/Ordinary.aspx?id=132

When you have completed the first step (I believe) you are entitled to get a better price on bike insurance from Folksam. If may still be cheaper though, since they have the special Honda brand insurance.

Nice, R1000................
Thanks Shadow. What really got me into the sport tourer type of bikes was the CBR 1000 F. Even though the GSX R1000 I had at the time was much sharper in handling, it was the 1kF i loved to drive. Super comfy, good handling and very strong. I also know that a skilled driver on a 1kF yesterday would have outrunned me, very easy. The lap times I'm doing there are almost entry level figures but the main purpose was to find out how the bike work, which is helpful in case ofdifficult road situations. It is important to be familiar and trust the bike; the biggest danger is often oneself if the brain tells you that you will crash. In case one trusts the bike and is committed to do what is needed, the chance to get away with unbroken bones is much higher.

Another reason to run on track from time to time is of course that one can run moreon the personallimit than is sensible on public roads. To be quite honest, I feel areal stupid if I stretch the legs too far on public roads, as could happen earlier.

R1000, Is this the same track? If so, how does your lap times compare between the 1kF, bird and busa?
I know that the busa is new and may be unfamiliar in the turns; I was just wondering about how secure you felt between the bikes.

A very cleverquestion -

The lap times are about the same for me, all thesebikes are fasteron track in the right hand than Iam. I'm of course faster with the GSX R, which is muchmore forgiving to rider errors.

-1kF, tons of fun butslightly scary due to the longchassi andtendency formid-steering.
-Bird, secure and solid, but nottotally confident due to the mass and height.
-Busa, totally secure on track, not aslight and agileas a sportbike, but good enough.

All bikes works perfecly well on normal roads.
