And now I remember why I hated the Givi setups - they completely destroy the lines on the back end of the bike.

This must of been what Givi what thinking, "I know what to do: the back end slopes inwards at the top, so our racks will slope outwards. And we'll make this silly little bracket to put the blinkers wwwaaayyy up higher."

Just ignore me, my shoulder hurts at the moment so I can't ride...

The only hard bags I see on Whitneys site are these - I have them on my Valkyrie - they are great bags for a cruiser, but wouldnt look right at all on a sportbike.

I completely agree, everything out there looks like Samsonite!! So frustrating, I've been looking for the same design of hard bag as what you've described (with angled design that matches our bikes lines). Someday I'll own an FJR 1300, but want the look of their luggage today. I can't find anything, but you mentioned Wolfman, is that hard luggage? Just curious if that's any better than Givi...

They are canvas. They came on my bike but cost about $170. They pretty much function the same but don't lock and look pretty sorry.

Yeah, the look of hard bags is a problem and that's why OEM bags are expensive because they are custom made for the bike and match the lines well, other than that we have very limited selection to pick from. I hate how bulky the rack system is on my bike, but it gives me the felxability to go to the gym before work and store all me gear and I took that option no bags.

I would love to have even just a mockup of a bag off a VFR so I can make some mounts for the cbr

Yeah! I have the Tourmaster soft bags. They look as sad as yours. I would like to go with hard bags at some point. Whitney used to have at least 5 kinds. Bummer!
I will have to search. I didn't search Denis Kerk yet. I prety muched gave up looking because of price w/o mounting.
