Talking Happy At Last

Ok folks,

I said I woukd update you all on the forks once I returned from the rig and refitted them.

I returned home after doing an extra week at work so I was looking forward to fitting the forks and going for a nice long blast to feel the difference. I spent the first hour on Thursday refitting the front end and torquing everything up.

Kit on and off I went. Less than 10 mins later a text from the wife, the youngest was ill and needed picking up. Ride out cancelled back to get the car and collect the youngest.

At last today nothing planned so a quick 100 mile ride.

I went to, TW Suspension Tech, North West's Motorcycle Suspension Set-Up & Tuning to get measured up for the new fork springs and also see if I needed to get the rear shock set up.

Teut, the guy who runs T.W. Suspension is awesome. He checked the rear rebound and after a little adjustment made that better. The difference was very noticeable on the return ride. He then got my forks, ordered k tech springs and gold valves. Sorted out the forks and sent them back.

The difference is amazing and I do mean amazing. The bike handles like a new bike, it is so stable through the corners no matter what state the road is in.

I can not recommend this guy enough, even if it's just for a set up of your suspension.

I'm back in love with my pink lady

Great to hear!

Too many riders only focus on mods to make their rides a twitch faster and look prettier while overlooking the suspension. In truth, stock springs a most likely to light for most riders when they're new and do wear out after a few years of riding. A properly set up suspension for the rider's weight, riding style, and roads that will be ridden on makes the bike faster than an air filter and exhaust can...

Thank you for the comments guys.

I would just like to recommend Teut. If you live or are ever in the Preston area give this man a ring. Even if you just spend the £25 for him to set up your suspension then it is money well spent and he is extremely good at it.

I would recommend him to everyone on this site but can't seem to find anywhere to put his details.

Are those bugs in your teeth?

I'm due for the same. Need to find a "Teut" in my locale
