Finally I got my new IXIL exhaust, and got'em on the bike.

I think they look nice, and they sound awesome!

And power wise they put out 119 hp on the rear... Nice

They look great Noe. I especially like the polished muffler covers to match. I've always thought that a silver coloured can on these bikes does not look quite right in conjunction with the original black finished covers.

Did you have any re-jetting done?

 

Looks really nice Noe !! Did the heat shields come with it, or are those your originals ? If original, did you polish, or have them chrome plated or something ?

Are they stainless steel. Did you fit it yourself - if so was that a PITA?

 

Didn't Re-Jet it, I think it was re-jetted for the old cans...

The shields are the original ones, which the previous owner had chrome plated...

The cans are polished aluminium

I didn't fit the cans myself.... Ten thumbs you know...

Noe, nice set of pipes, what was the hp before the new pipes?

 

about the same, but the old pipes were also open pipes as the new ones... Stock I think the bike puts out approx 110-115 bhp
