I just bought a1990 CBR1000F Silver/Grey with about 30,000 miles on it. The bike is in great shape, and is a blast to ride. My previous bikes have been a 1972 CB450 and a1981 Yamaha Virago 750.

Anyway, I have one question for people with different windshields. I would like to get a taller windshield, but would like to know what each brand looks like on this bike. I've looked through the photo gallery and saw a few that looked good, but I couldn't tell what brand they were. Not all the manufacturers put a picture of the shield installed on the bike either.

So if you have a 89-92 with a Zero Gravity Sport Touring, MRA, or anyother brand could you please post me a picture of your bike

Hi, when i bought my bike the higher windshield was already mounted but the good thing is that it was from one of the forum members.
So if you read this rhino94....can youreport what brand the windshield is ?
Im really pleased with it although the wind comes on my head/helmet but almost nothing on the body(i'm 196cm),just lean a bit forward and your protected from the wind.

Blue, that looks like an old National Cycle screen with a lip to it.

 

I have a MRA touring screen on my 96 Ft

 

SPIN This is the screen on m old 92 model it is a double bubble with a tourign lip and at 200 Kls an hour I can lift my Visor up and not have my head torn off !! cost me $140.00 AUS

I've now found out that the screen on my bike is a MRA-screen and there's a black one too if you want one.

I have the MRA screen, helps once you get over the 100 mark, albeit a bit noisy.
