She was a beauty, hope her new owner loves her. Did you tell him about the forum?

Yes the new owner fell in love with her and she has gone to good home also told him about the forum. He has plans to put some love and $$ onto to her so the deal was settled.

I have to wait 4 weeks before my new bike is home .. I am joining the RR gang,

I will soon to be a proud owner of a 2008 CBR 1000 RR, a black beast.. might call him Dexter..hehe (this deal fell through in the end
got the 07 red/black model

Thank you Shadow and Hawk I will for sure say hi and take a few pics of the bike, its done 13k k's but looks very new and rides like amazing, i was able to take it for a 15 minute test run last week and it was like riding a sewing machine, everything is so responsive - one thing i did notice straight away was the comfort level the old hurricanes have just ain't there no more with the newer bikes...but so much lighter, i have to exercise some serious respect for this machine, cause I noticed the bike started to lift when i accelerated modestly like i would with the old bike.

Yeah a lot less weight, more power and a shorter wheel base will see the front wheel in the air very easily. Respect the throttle
