The Givi wingrack is intended for bikes that have stalk-mounted rear turn signals. I'm looking at a used Givi rack that includes both top and side racks, but not the integrated turn signals. Is it impossible to fit sidecases and retain the stock turn signals? 1991 CBR 1000f.

 

As far as I know, you need to dump your standard blinkers, due to the "tight fit" of the Givi kit to the rear panels - the Nonfango units I have allow you to use standard blinkers, minimising work, and keeping the bike standard.Also easy to remove and refit with the Nonfango, not so easy with Givi.......there are also a couple of different "wingracks" made by Givi - is the one you're after a Wingrack 1 or wingrack 2 ? Thanks. The one I'm considering is a Wingrack II, but from the photos it looks like two separate racks--one for the topcase and one for the panniers. No lights. Guess I'll keep looking.

Also keep an eye out for Krauser racks (sold at twistedthrottle.com) They are a smaller setup and do not require using their turn signals.
