If I wanted comfort I'd take the bus. It is what it is and I love it.

Got-ta love the bikes these days, can't imagine doing a x-country on a Norton or older BSA.

Played Pop Warner when I was young. Didn't get hit much but ran into a few pro players that quit due to taking hits often.

SB, we aim to please in this here forum, pilgrim. LOL

I have been drilled in the chest with footballs when they slip through the hands. It smarts a bit. Broke both thumbs while doing a crazy ski jump with huge, huge air. I would have gotten a zero on my landing if anyone cared.

My hands do cramp while riding. I hope no one thinks I am flipping them off....its just my hands cramping. I take potassium and magnesium supplements before a ride and don't get the cramps.

I have ridden straight through from Daytona, Florida to the middle of New York a couple of times. Before heading south, I made sure I did some saddle time. Saddle time is best for getting ready for long rides.

As I get older, I take my time more and stop for coffee even though I don't really drink coffee.

I keep getting outbid on the thumb-locks, LOL guess peops still want them. My buddy told me they are illegal here now. Don't know if that's true but he told me it's illegal to shut your light off during the day too.

We just went on a ride to a strip joint and almost got nabbed on the way back. Well he did I was gone. He's on a fjr1300
