Gear shift indicator
I recently picked up a 2011 hayabusa. This is my first bike that has a gear indicator, and although not absolutely necessary, it sure is nice.
I'm seeing the inexpensive universal ones on ebay. I like the display, but would prefer not having to fab up brackets for the 2 magnets down by the gear shift. Any hurricane/1000f riders install one of the other more expensive ones that I assume go off engine rpm? Perhaps like the one from healtech? |
I don't need one. When the engine is under load I down shift and up shift when the RPM's are up. When the tach and speedo are in the same clock position I know I'm in 6th.

Had one fitted as standard to the old Gixer K5 and my Street R and purchased one for my RR9 Blade but I never really used it so I won't be purchasing another where it's not fitted as standard.
