Swishered...

Yes - These are my figures from my maitenance records.

Currently for our bike the PR2's seem to get about 17,000km for both front or rear (depending on your riding style of course - these results are from fast country touring style with speeds up to the limit of the bike ). At this rate they seem to be the best value for money and a great all round tyre.

Brakes? You ask... recent sets with distance travelled...

Rear pads - (Honda OEM) 28,000km
Rear pads - (Honda OEM) 27,000km
Rear Brake pads - (EBC FA196 - Organic) 14,500km
Rear Brake pads (SBS 630LS Rear) - Current

Front Pads fitted (SBS) 46,000km

The organic brake pads seems to be useless on our 1000F's. Bike came with EBC's all around wich I removed and swapped for Carbone-Lorraine SBK5 sintered pads, best pads I had on a bike so far. 14.000km on them still over 50% left. Not for the rear though, where I fitted the EBC organic from the front, they seem to last half than that and not very good stopping power.
