For those who owns 1987-88 , how much air pressure do you load in the forks?

CBRclassic 03-22-2009 07:40 AM

The manual recommends between 0 and 6 psi.

Hi Classic

i am aware of this but i heard some owner go above this and was wondering whom does and how it feels mine is at 4 psi.

CBRclassic 03-22-2009 07:49 AM

Sorry ....
Mine is 89-90 model so she has no air..

I have read on other forums about peeps blowing seals with higher than recommended air pressures

Thanks!

I prefere to put no more than 3 psi. & should be no problem with liking oil from the sealing

Carl, I suggest you loosing 6 pounds = 2.7Kgs.
It is healthier too.

DragonCBR 03-22-2009 04:04 PM

red baron how much pressure do you keep in your fork?

Red Baron 03-23-2009 10:00 PM

0 psi, I now have upgraded Work Performance springs, but even before, I had 0 psi on them.
