Default first ride of the season! woohoo

and i'm back. got my account fixed(thank you chainstrecher),and took my first ride of the year. it was a little hairy, still alot of snow here. it was only 28F, so a little chilly, but could of dressed better. after a long winter of 30 below zero, 28 felt warm. still a month out from any good riding though, too much dirt on the road from winter, and the frost heaves suck as well! looking forward to another season though. be safe guys

After our winter there are loads of 'potholes' in my local roads if they don't get filled soon I'm thinking of doing them myself its not so bad when you know where they are

yeah we have a ton of potholes here too, then the snow melts and gets the roads wet then it freezes, that's no fun! hey steve, you don't get snow in your part of the country, or do you?

They patched a pothole just after a 90degree bend on a steep hill I have to use on the way home from work. After a week the hole reappeared below the first one so they patched it, a week after another appeared below the second so they patched it.
After another week guess what..... another hole but this time they have given up and left it!!!!
So instead of one original hole, I now have to dodge a new hole and three lumps of patched tarmac!!!!!!!!!!!! makes me mad!!!!!!!!!!

We got some real snow here for the first time in about ten years , we were actually snowed in as the roads were impassable! Think thats where all the potholes came from we had some pretty cold nights for this part of the world
