Default First post and n3bw question :)

Hey people,

This is my first post here cause I'm most likly going to be buying a 1996 with 15k miles on it.

My first and formost question is what is a decent price for a bike like this in the NE?

But i've been reading up on these and they seem just about perfect for what I want.

I had a 91' kawa 500 vulcan, and that bike was a little to small. I wanted a "sport bike" but I forgot how much I loved long distance riding, so thats why I'm here.

Thanks and hopefully I'll have some pics!

I think if you get it for anything under $3K, your doing fine. Naturally the lower the better. It's great for LD riding. I've put over 15K miles in the last year. Headed to Daytona 200 this coming weekend.

Welcome to the forum. I am very proud of CBR1000, the Japanese masterpiece. I am originally from Japan and in North Carolina. CBR is the one of SPORT TOURER. Not really handy like genuine sport bike, but gentle and strong. Post the pics as soon as you get it!![/align]

This bike may be a SPORT TOURER, but you can still put a knee on the asphalt when the urge strikes! Plus, it's comfy and fast. Win, win, win situation. LOL. Still would be fun to have a lighter bike for the real tight stuff though.....
