Default Fairing Bolts

Anybody got any spares? I'm only missing 2 and I can't see spending the +/- $40 for a whole new set. I'm sure someone here has already been through this. I'll give you a few bucks for them, or even be willing to buy a new set for the 2 I need and sell the rest to whoever needs them.

There was some mising on mine to. I use M6 stainless steel socket cap bolts (round head) and SS washers as replacement. They doesn't look bad at all and can be bought cheap at many places.

If you just want to buy the bolts individualy, these guys will sell you them. All genuine. I think they're a dollar to a couple of dollars each.

Basically give them a ring here in the UK, they'll probably send you a fax of the fairing item list and pictures. You basically tell them which number part you want, or tell them the description and they'll send it to you. Bought a lot of stuff for my bike from there as the previous owner did an **** job of repairing the fairings after a spill.

They ship worldwide, don't know how cheap they are compared to the states, but they're one of the cheapest i've found in the UK.

Best of luck.

Kev.

Cant imagine postage will be much, even to USA, and if its only a small amount, dont worry about it.... pm me address if you want them....

After removing the dust cover? that covers the plastic plug clip that hold the RHS fairing under the dash, I found the plastic push-on plug had been replaced by a zippy tie...

Most of the other plastic pushons are in pretty bad shape too... what do you people with mint bikes use when the original plugs wear out/break?

I always buy originals from Honda. They have them available and, for what they are, beat you over the head with the price, but it's still only a few bucks.
