Engine rattle in SC-24 when taking up drive

Engine makes a rattling noise when taking up drive. Noise also appears when accelerating with a too high gear.

Noise specially appears when accelerating with 1st gear and switching to 2nd gear.

Noise does not appear in neutral gear and reving teh engine.

No problem with engine, runs smoothly and all of the horsepowers seems to be in the "stable". No oil burning and very good fuel economy.

I have changed the timing-chain + tensioner + chainguides so I belive noise does not come from that area.

could your clutch be the source of the noise? How many kms do you have?

Chain hitting the swingarm ? Maybe the rubber cover on the swingarm is gone.
These bikes don't like to be changed up under 3000 revs. Your carbs may need to be synched.
May even be the balancer shaft needs to be adjusted.
May even be the camchain is stretched or the primary chain is past its sellby date.......
Hard to tell from here.
Put up a soumd clip and we'll try again........

Had some small doubts the noise could come from the clutch. But I fear those in-engine chains that they could just be at the end of their journey.

This thing has already about 110000kms on it.

Have to look into the problem someday in the winter. Starting with the clutch and renewing all the disks and springs etc.

Perfect driving conditions still here in the north with ca. 7´ C and sunshine.

Thanks for the answers!
