Nothing like winter to get these jobs done tho' eh ?

Yu thinking stock paint scheme or custom ??

Bio248 12-31-2010 12:06 AM

nothing stock. it would be simple, probably one color. you can always accent with decals.

Header pipes are the worst bloody thing on bikes that look crap after a very short while ...
Both the sets above look bloody great (and I wish mine looked so good :-(

but the reality is that if you take those great looking pipes out in trashy weather , they come back stained from mud and dirt in a flash ....
It's rather depressing really how quick they go down hill ....

After copious amounts of resprays and even re chroming on quite a few bikes , I just look at my herders and go ... **** you ...stay bloody dirty and stained !! because I am done with trying to keep you guys looking good ... LOL

but hey ... kudos to anyone that still fights that battle ....:icon_wink:

hi guys for the prep work did u use high heat primer and after high heat clear? If yes were to get it?

Thanks!

Sprock 01-01-2011 10:37 AM

My plan Carl is just multiple coats of flat matt high heat paint every now and then .
