i used the VHT header paint on my V&H header:
Attachment 51536 Attachment 51537 i like how they dont stand out on the bike like when they were polished. only mine werent polished and they were rusty. i sand blasted them before i painted. here they are on the bike: Attachment 51538 Attachment 51539 enjoy. |

nothing stock. it would be simple, probably one color. you can always accent with decals.

Header pipes are the worst bloody thing on bikes that look crap after a very short while ...
Both the sets above look bloody great (and I wish mine looked so good :-( but the reality is that if you take those great looking pipes out in trashy weather , they come back stained from mud and dirt in a flash .... It's rather depressing really how quick they go down hill .... After copious amounts of resprays and even re chroming on quite a few bikes , I just look at my herders and go ... **** you ...stay bloody dirty and stained !! because I am done with trying to keep you guys looking good ... LOL but hey ... kudos to anyone that still fights that battle ....:icon_wink: |

My plan Carl is just multiple coats of flat matt high heat paint every now and then .
