RE: Digital Voltmeter
Cool, let me know if they ship internationally since a couple of friends here might be interested as well.
Just in case, here's the link to the original auction on ebay:

RE: Digital Voltmeter
Daniel, I used Audiodan's link, paid by Paypal. Unit cost 21.48 + 21.50 postage (!!) = US$42.98
Well worth it.
I'm certain they will send to Buenos Aires.
Thanks to you both for input. Maybe now I run less risk of burning out another r/r, and at least I'll have some warning.......
[sm=thanx.gif]also to Idodirt and R1000 for comments and suggestions.

RE: Digital Voltmeter
I have to admit that the unit looks nice but,
(1) It has the time; I can look at my wrist for that.
(2) It has the battery voltage; when I push the start button I can tell if it going to start or not. When I turn the key the headlight is either dim or bright also.
(3) It tells the outside temperature; I know when I am cold or not
I try to keep things simple and I don’t want to be looking at things when I should be looking at the road.
OK then, go and get a rope and hang me. You have to find me first. Here is a clue. I am currently a few miles form Deal’s Gap, TN. I am unfortunately 18 hour drive from my bike.

1 You can look at your watch while riding ? Better rider than me.....!
2 If your reg/rec's in the process of failing, the bike will start normally. I've had it happen, and 100 miles down the road the bike died, and had to be collected.(Embarrassing)[:@][:@]
3 It's useful to have as much info as possible, just by glancing down.........why then do guys fit satnav's ? I can see where I'm going.......he he (even to Deal's Gap)
4 Finding you is easy........I'll get some help from Hardcorp (morning,Gunny) and his guys.......
no place you can hide from a Recon unit.....Do they still hang people in New York (or Tennessee) ? he he
BUT, I agree, If you spend TOO MUCH time playing with the toys, you won't live long....that's true.
And yes, Audiodan, I'll do a write up on fitting it, with pictures, and a report on how good or bad the thing is.....

Thanks Shadow, didn't know they take paypal as well, that's great! I don't get how so many sites these days don't accept it yet... anyway, let's see how this thing works once we get it, and let's see who gets it first!
In regards of Tim's comments, I partially agree with you, I don't like to put extra stuff on my bike other than what came with it, but after dealing with a faulty regulator, I could've avoided getting stranded (lucky for me the batt died just as I was getting back inside the garage...) by having something that indicated me that the reg wasn't charging properly... so, this is one of the smallest and coolest looking digital voltmeter I could find for this kind of bike.[8D]

RE: Digital Voltmeter
You guys are scaring me! Should everyone with these bikes carry around a spare regulator or what? How often do they fail?
I found this interesting and it had some good numbers at the end of the article.....
