It's funny, I showed this to my wife and that generated a discussion on the definition of the word "need". Apparently if she says it, it means one thing. If I say it, it means something totally different.

Exactly. Her response was "You already have a crotch rocket". Telling her that this was a rare, great example of an iconic bike did no good.


I guess I should say, "Yes, but not in that color. I need one in that color"

Something I've never noticed before is the black fender over the rear wheel. Pretty cool.
I wonder why they dropped that in 89?

 

The rear fender was incorporated into the tail/seat unit.
