Default clutch slave and missing parts

So I'm building a locost car and am using a 95 CBR1000f engine. I finally figured out the wiring and tried test starting. As I was checking for spark, I saw oil pumping out of the side of the engine near the slave cylinder. there's a hole there, but nothing between the clutch slave and the hole, the oil spills out as the engine cranks over. Is this where the push rod for the clutch goes, I'm guessing? the rod that's a foot or so long? and if so can I just buy one and put it in there, or do I have to take the engine apart and pull the clutch. I bought the engine used and have been gradually replacing missing parts, and this one is the latest on the list.

thanks for your thoughts and help

Fred

Default well

it is where the clutch rod is , but sounds like you have either too much
oil in there or the motor is pitched/mounted at the wrong angle , as in
leaning too far forward .........or a combo of the two.

Just my opinion

there's no clutch rod I believe. just a hole in the crank case directly behind the slave. originally I didn't have the slave and when I cranked it oil bubbles out as it cranks. I plugged it for now and got it started for the first time ever just earlier today. it ran, but I guessing there should be something behind the slave that runs through this hole in the casing that aligns with the clutch mechanism. I don't have another engine anywhere that I know of to compare it to. so I have looked at all kinds of web pictures, but none are the ones I need.

any of you guys have cbr1000fs that could snap a shot for me of the slave and the rod?

Yep it's the clutch rod that goes through it.....and about as long as you say.
The slave is integrated / part of the sprocket cover.

here's the best shot I have from a few months ago when doing a front sprocket

You can see the clutch rod poking out in front of the chain and sprocket.
The slave as you can see protrudes forward of the sprocket casing to engage the
clutch rod

that's it exactly. Does it pull out? I see them on ebay for $10 or so. can I slide it right in given I put sealing gaskets as required?

I've never had one of these engines before to work on so I am unfamiliar with the design.

thanks for the pictures they are exactly what I'm looking for.

No gaskets on the clutch slave/sprocket cover. Rod slides in
Three different sized bolts and some spacers to attach it.

wow, so I can buy one, slide it into the hole and engage the clutch somewhere on the other end, then put the cover and clutch slave over it, bolt them on and, if all is adjusted right, it should work?

fabulous.
