Clutch gave up

Clutch gave up
Parked inside and stored for the last 3 months. Started her up today and the clutch had no resistance at all. Checked fluid, very low. Added fluid, loosened bleeder on slave oil came out, but not under real pressure. Cannot get master to build pressure at all.
Question:
Does this mean master seals have failed, or slave seals have failed? I assume its the master and will need to use a rebuild kit. I just did not see any leaks at all anywhere.

Not sure if it helps but... I recently changed my clutch fluid . I just couldn't build any pressure to remove the air in the system. kept bleeding fluid out but still no pressure. Not until I loosened the banjo connection on the master and pumped the lever a bit until fluid came out in the rag I had around it. So it seems I had air trapped in the banjo all this time !
May be the same problem on yours ? But not sure where your fluid is going . I guess theres no sign of a leak ?

It's been a long time since I bled the clutch line, but if it's anything like the brakes then you'll need to pump pump pump! I get hand cramp doing mine, but you do eventually get pressure.
Also you just need to crack the bleed screw open by the tiniest amount, otherwise air bleeds back into the system, so it needs to be closed before all pressure is lost.
This winter I'm going to do all brake/clutch fluid, not looking forward to it. But hey! I'm cheap and don't want to lay out the cash for a mity-vac. LOL.
Hope this helps.

Slave cylinder seal is gone Bud
Might as well do both master and slave when doing it anyhow !
You'll find everything needs a thorough cleaning out before
adding new seal kit , brake master piston kit & fluid etc.
Mity Vac or any brake bleeder will speed the job right up.
You'll have to ride up this way before the white stuff hits !

Im doing the same Rhode Islander. My clutch has very little " grab " and the lever is very soft. I pull the master cylinder cap and there is virtually no fluid in it. I have no leaks around the top of the system so I'm thinking the seals have gone in the slave cylinder. Sprock sent me a link for a new kit so I've ordered that just now. I'll bleed the thing and put fresh fluid in anyway. I have a mighty Vac so it shouldn't be to bad an experience.
Here is Sprocks link.

Fixed
I took the master off the bars to get the thing level. As I did, a big bubble came out of the piston area. I added some fluid, tapped the master, more bubbles. Cleaned the cap and gasket, remounted. I pumped the lever quickly, but not long strokes(insert joke here). It pumped up nice. I bled a slave, added more fluid, and she works perfectly. I will check to see if I lose fluid, if I do, then the slave kits gotta be done. I think if the fluid is low, and the bike is on the side stand, its a wicked angle. Air gets trapped in that piston area and tough to get out.
Thanks guys!
