here are the pictures of my finished paint job to the side of the bike that was in the accident, and the tilt bars(aka frame sliders) i attached to the bike that i made at work, if you look at the paint job you can tell its not the original paint job/stickers that comes on the bike i had some guys look at it and say it looks a lot better, let me know what you think

only cost me 30$ to do this to the bike i made a ignition cover that takes the place of the black cover and the original cover but i only bought bondo and paint and this is the finish product

 

I hate to say it but it looks really ugly :s

I think it would be nicer if you keep the wiremesh in one color, preferably black...

 

Yeah i was thinking leaving the wiremesh the crome looking color it was but it might look good all black. Id like to get somemore comments on it first though.

 

Ok, it's not meant to break you down or something, just an honest opinion Black would look really nice imho...

 

I think it was a good idea to paint the mesh to match the paintjob of the bike, but just that. A good idea. I would think it would look pretty cool but I tend to agree with Ph0b0s that it did not turn out that great. I also agree that if it were all black it would look pretty sick! Kudos on the fab work with the mesh and the frame sliders though! I've been thinking of doing some sort of mesh like that aswell since I'm also missing the piece that covers the stock "tilt bar". How hard is the mesh to form to the desired shape? Scale of 1-10....

 

yeah i am going to go black with it cause i color it on a photo shop program and it looks good, and from a scale from 1-10 id say bending it to the shape you want if you dont have acess to a shop (machine shop) it will be a little more difficult but i say about a 7 then the process of getting it on there lol
