DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I CAN PUT A 1100XX MOTOR IN MY 91' CBR1000F

 

You probably could if you areprepared to rework the frame and relocate accessories etc. The XX have e.g a very large air box that will not fit under the slim 1000 F tank. I would also be very surprised if it is a simple bolt on since the cylinder row is much more tilted forward on the Blackbird, which is a pain in the *** when comes to plug replacements and valve adjustments on Blackbirds.A fewpeople have swapped XX engines into early Honda Fireblades since the XX engine is much more powerful, but they have had to do mods to the frame and a lot of other bit and pieces. The 1000 F frame is probably easier to work with than Fireblades since 1000 F steel tubing can be modified and the dimensions on the 1000 F are more to the XX side.
