That shock looks totally different m8. If anyone has done this and would share the experience, I would give it a go also. My shock is knackered.

according to my manual the fittings are much the same, just i dont know the length of the new one yet, also not sure about the adjuster bit lol.
any idea how much this rr shock is worth, gotta be more than the tenner eh?.
evrything ive looked at for my shock(1kf)is well expensive and s/hand ones from scrappy are 80-150 quid, thats if u can find them.
as with yours ,ghost,i think mines reaching the end of its life, bikes done 23k in 15yrs now with orig shock from what i can see.

Its worth a lot more than a tenner Forx. You got a steal there man. I bet he posts it in a bag marked SWAG

Try posting on the RR forum m8.

Everything is different. The length, the spring dia, the width of the U part at the bottom, the linkage ratio, spring rateetc.

Well, for the £10 he bought it for, he may as well relist it.

Nah he is dreaming. That looks like its off a CBR1000RR if anything.

I can definately tell you it is not of a CBR1000F unless he has modified all the linkages etc.
