Cbr1000f tappet tool,
Where would i find one, no luck so far.
|
I crafted one with a 10mm deep socket. Ground flat spots on the edges near the top to get a wrench on it, and stuck a small blade screwdriver down the middle. Worked perfectly
The Motion Pro tool is not deep enough so don't even bother |
I bought mine from a Honda dealer few years ago.
This is what you want: 07GMA-ML70120 Bike Bandit and Amazon has it, but not cheap. About $35 shipped |
Thanks
Thanks for the replies, i really like the bike. Probably just go ahead and get the tool.

Hi
Can anyone tell me whether the 88 CBR600F would use the same 10 mm tappet tool discussed above. The manual says tool part # 07GMA-ML7-0100 for a CBR600F. ( not ..#.. -0120 as referred to above for a CBR100F) . Perhaps its an 8 mm for cbr600F? Thanks |
I see the same part number for the tappet nuts on both bikes so should be 10mm
