Default Cbr1000f (95) front brake removal

Hi guys,

This is my first post here, so please, be gentle with me.. Lol.

I have a 95 Cbr1000f and need to remove the front left calliper to free it up, it's binding a bit. Did anyone know what size spanner is needed to undo the bottom retaining pin holding the calliper to the forks, it seems to be somewhere between 11 & 12mm ish..

In sure this has been covered earlier by someone her but I can't find it so I thought I'd ask the question..

Thanks guys

Live long and keep biking!!!

Yes, a 12mm should do it. Also the pin #19 is captured buy clip #20. You need to lift the clip #20 while backing the pin #19 out or you will damage the clip.

Edit: There are several size pistons in the calipers, you need to replace them where they came out of. When you are done you need to bleed the system. Bleeding LINK.
