Carburetor Question

I had my carbs set by a mechanic and he set them far too rich. Although I know how to adjust 1, 3 and 4 I don't know how to adjust the mixture for #2, which I realize is the one I need to sync to.

Anyone know how to adjust the mixture on carb #2?

what year?

should be the same for all
if your sitting on the bike it should go like this:

1 on the left of the carb
2 on the right of the carb
3 on the left of the carb
4 on the right of the carb

To start with if you are talking about the screw with the jam nut that you can see with the tank up, those are the balancing adjusters and playing with them will bugger up your balance. On those there is no adjustment for #2 carb as the other three carbs get balanced (vacuum balanced) to it. They have nothing to do with enrichment.

The mixture pilot screws are underneath and hard to get to.
