Had a short shake down run tonight after work. Went ok for 5km then a big bang and steam from the right hand side fairing...bugger. Turns out the hose clamp on the thermostat housing to radiator pipe was loose and the pipe popped off. No great worries there. Refitted and water topped up. Desperately needs a new battery which I will get tomorrow. Front tyre also not for this world anymore. 0,9mm tread depth is probably the reason it refuses to turn in and when it does eventually decide ok lets turn, she wants to fall over. I might just throw on my CBR600F2 front rim and tyre till I can find a good deal on some better tyres. There's a set of Pirelli Corsa SC2s on the local market that have done 10 laps of our local track. Might just throw them on, would suit my riding style

Excuse the messy workshop, but its 11pm here and I couldn't be bothered to tidy it up now. I still have a few panel fitment issues, but here she is. Tomorrow morning she is going for another run and hopefully will behave properly.

The wife and I were out on her all day and enjoyed every minute of it. She is so much better 2 up than my old CBX750. Just think about a corner and she is through it. Magic bike. Damn loud, I think PO gutted the end cans. Will have to make a plan there and yes, I need to fit crank covers and sort the fit of the front section of the fairing. Most the lugs are broken and if you look behind the front wheel you will notice its all a bodge job to get it sort of fitted. Minor worries though, I'm enjoy the bike. Will sort the last bits and pieces next weekend when she has her first service. Fresh motor needs oil change at 200km and brake fluid and fork oil is still what the bike came with. Just won't do. More work ahead...
